Meet the Optometrists
Dr. Sarah Swanson, O.D. has long aspired to become an Optometrist. She majored in biology at the University of California, Santa Cruz, and went on to graduate from the Southern California College of Optometry in 2002. After graduation, she felt a draw to Sacramento, and began practicing at Eyes on J in 2002. In 2004, she purchased the practice, and is proud to share her education with her patients.
As part of her dedication to her patients, Dr. Swanson, O.D. participates in many forms of Continuing Education. In addition, she is a member of the American Optometric Association, the California Optometric Association, and the Sacramento Valley Optometric Society.
Meet the Opticians
Jessica Al-Amoudi came to Sacramento with four years of experience with Optometry. A Kansas City native, she made the move to California and quickly found a home with Eyes on J. Her optical knowledge and professional manner have become an integral part of the practice. Jessica is currently pursuing certification with the American Board of Opticianry.
Fabiola Juarez has a strong sense of style and welcomes the chance to help people choose frames that best compliment their appearance, as well as their personality. She began her Optical experience by spending several years focusing on the health and cosmetic benefits of sun protection before making the move to working with prescription eyewear. In addition to all this, Fabiola is bilingual, and enjoys working with our Spanish-speaking patients.
Ray Molina was born in central California in a small town few have even heard of. He soon found an intersting position working in the field of optometric assisting. He has worked with large chain optometry companies, and also small, single doctor practices. And now he works at Eyes on J, a beautiful office located in the heart of downtown Sacramento, which has been his favorite location by far. He enjoys working in a field that allows people to see the world in a better way.
Christina Palmer was born and raised here in Sacramento, CA. She brings to Eyes on J many years of customer service excellence. She graduated top of her class at the Charles A. Jones Skills Center's program for opticians. Christina plans on taking the American Board of Opticians licensing exam and the National Contact Lens Exam later this year. We're excited to have her on our team of outstanding opticians.
