As our community copes with the fast-moving spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus, government officials have mandated that we temporarily close our business effective today, March 19th, through the mandated Tuesday, April 7th. Although we are a healthcare facility, under the definition of the CDC and the government guidelines, optometry practices are considered “non-essential” healthcare. Therefore we have been required to close.
Please be comforted that Dr. Swanson will be available for Urgent Eye Care via telemedicine. ***Please note if you are having an Eye Health Emergency, please call 911. Dr. Swanson is not set up for emergencies, only urgent care.

Please leave non-urgent messages on the office answering machine or email through our website and Dr Swanson will do her best to respond within a few days as long as it is not a question that can wait until we re-open for regular business.
Dr. Swanson will be updating you in the next few days as to possible options to have your glasses or contact lenses that are currently in our office mailed to you per your request, standard postal fees will apply. Or rest assured, your items will be safe here and available to you when we are able to resume business. Courier service to our office has halted, so if you have not been notified via email or text, your eyewear has not been delivered to us and will not be available until we resume regular business. All items currently at the lab will not be available until we re-open as well. Please hold on requesting your items to be mailed as we don’t have a system in place yet to do so. Dr. Swanson will email when it becomes an option. We understand these are uncharted and trying times for everyone. We ask for your patience as we take each day to figure out these new policies and changes. We will do our best to stay connected with you as things change and if we can provide additional services remotely such as ordering contact lenses with direct ship to your homes, we will try.
Please continue to read our emails and notifications over the coming weeks to stay informed.
Most importantly, stay home safe and healthy with your families, the more we all stay home the faster we will be able to “flatten the curve” and resume our normal lives. We are here for you now and look forward to being there for you for many years to come.
